7V Banded Haul-Off Belts (Large Wedge) is designed for high-power loads, and the “Banded” (Joined) construction is essential to prevent belt whip during the rhythmic vibrations of a thread rolling process.
The integrated vulcanised coating on Yonghang’s 7V Banded Haul-Off Belts provides high friction, ensuring that there is no slippage or surface damage when gripping cross-linked materials or threaded rods. By fusing the surface layer directly to the 7V base belt, we have eliminated the risk of delamination, thereby ensuring that the belt can withstand the immense shear forces and continuous compression commonly encountered in industrial extrusion and rolling production lines.

Engineering Advice for 7V Customization
For Thread Rolling: If the machine processes sharp or metallic threads, I recommend an 85A Hard PU Coating. It resists cutting and abrasion significantly better than standard rubber.
For Haul-Off Machines: If you are pulling cross-linked cables or pipes that are still warm, a 45A Soft Rubber Coating is better for maximizing surface contact and grip.
Precision Matching: For these heavy-duty machines, always order “Matched Sets.” We grind the coating of the entire set at once to ensure the thickness is identical, preventing one belt from pulling harder than the other.
FAQ
Why Use 7V Banded Belts for This Machine?
Anti-Vibration (Banded Design): Thread rolling machines often create pulse vibrations. Standard single V-belts would flip over or jump off the pulley; the Banded (Joined) structure stays locked in the grooves.
High Tension Support: 7V belts have a deeper cross-section than 3V or 5V, allowing them to pull much heavier loads—perfect for the high-resistance pulling of cross-linked threads.
Maximum Friction: The specialized coating (often a Red Natural Rubber or PU) acts as a high-traction interface that “bites” into the material, ensuring zero-slip synchronization.
Heat & Oil Resistance: Since thread rolling often involves lubricants and generates heat, our belts are treated to resist oil swelling and thermal degradation.
