cleats terminology!

The main functions of the cleats/baffle are to prevent items from falling, to separate and to fix the positions of the items.

Measurement from top of belt surface to top edge of cleat

Height of Cleat

Measurement from side of cleat to side of cleat

Width of Cleat

Measurement from edge of belt to edge of cleat

note: Indent on either side of the cleat can be different

Cleat-Indent

Measurement of how wide center notch is; note: cleats can have more than one notch at times

Center Notch (Gap) Width

Distance from one cleat to the next cleat in sequence, measure from center of cleat to center of next cleat

The centre-to-centre distances between different cleats may vary; these can be customised to suit your requirements.

Cleat Center to Center

Angle at which the ends of the cleats are cut at (Standard is 90˚)
