Key Performance Benefits
A. Scuff and Scratch Prevention
The soft, needle-punched surface of the white felt acts as a protective pillow. Even if a product “drags” slightly due to speed variations, the felt prevents surface abrasions that would occur with a standard rubber belt.
B. Chemical Resistance
White Meta-aramid felts are highly resistant to industrial oils, mild acids, and alkalis, making them ideal for environments where lubricants or cleaning agents are present on the line.
C. Seamless Construction
At YONGHANG, we specialize in Endless Jointing for felt belts. We ensure the splice point has the same thickness and heat resistance as the rest of the belt, preventing “jump” or marking as the joint passes under the product.
White vs. Yellow/Brown/Grey/ Brown Felt
- Grey(80℃):Single-sided or double-sided Nomex conveyor belts, mainly designed for low-temperature industrial environments, are resistant to cutting, anti-static, and breathable.
- White (180℃): Best for general non-marking needs and cost efficiency.
- Yellowish-white(250℃): A mid-step for slightly harsher environments.
- Yellow (480℃): Reserved for direct-from-furnace contact (felt/Kevlar blends)
- Brown (600℃): Reserved for direct-from-furnace contact (PBO/Kevlar blends)
