Plastic Flat Top Chains are produced in straight and side flexing versions and the range is covered by a broad selection of raw materials, chain link profiles and plate thicknesses to provide solutions for all conveying applications. These Flat Top Chains are characterised by low friction co-efficients, high resistance to wear, dampening of noise and high standards of workmanship with very smooth surfaces. The chains can be used in many applications and are not just confined to the Beverage Industry.
820/880/821/882 flat top plastic chains are available for both straight running and side flexing applications. Side Flexing Chains are available in Tab, Bevel and Magnetic formats to suit different curve holddown systems.
Flat top plastic chain is the conveyor chains with integrated top plate and chain section, connected by connecting pins.

What are the differences between different materials?
Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde,It is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability.
POM is characterized by its high strength, hardness and rigidity to −40 °C. POM is intrinsically opaque white because of its high crystalline composition but can be produced in a variety of colors.Working temperature −40 °-80°C,
Polypropylene (PP), also known as polypropene, It is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications. It is produced via chain-growth polymerization from the monomer propylene.
Polypropylene belongs to the group of polyolefins and is partially crystalline and non-polar. Its properties are similar to polyethylene, but it is slightly harder and more heat-resistant. It is a white, mechanically rugged material and has a high chemical resistance.Working temperature 0 °-100°C, more resistant to acids and alkalis, with better corrosion resistance.
| Characteristics | POM | PP |
| Mechanical strength | High rigidity, high wear resistance | Medium strength, high toughness |
| Working temperature | ﹣40°-80°C(High temperature releases odors) | ﹣0℃-100℃ (brittle at low temperatures) |
| Chemical properties | Not tolerant of strong acids | acid and alkali resistant, solvent resistant |
| Application | Heavy-duty conveying, precise transmission (automobile assembly line, logistics transportation (high wear + precision) choose POM) | Food processing, corrosive environment. For food factory baking lines (high temperature |
Product Application
Packaging machinery, food and beverage processing, dairy processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetics machinery related accessories and conveyor systems
